Had a visit from a couple of builders today to look over my progress. Bob Garrabrant from Nantucket is also building a Onex and Mitch Garner from Falmouth has the airframe basically done on his RV-12.
Updrilled and riveted the inboard root ribs.
Worked on preparing the main spar. Figured it would be easier to get some tasks done before the spar is installed. I fitted and updrilled the forward seat attachment hinge F05-05. That will be riveted after the spar is finally in place. Also updrilled the blocks for the control stick assembly. The holes were drilled on the drill press, probably more accurate than doing it by hand with the spar installed. Again, the assembly will be finally bolted in after the spar is in place.
